During addiction depletion will take place. There will be no reason to feel shame or embarrasment. Addiction doesn't wait for an invitation, and the flirtation is always in a disguise. Many don't see the power of drugs, alcohol, and other substances arriving. 


The safest and most influential way to overcome and bounce back is to master self-care. 


  • Reflecting back to things that one enjoyed before addiction or heavy usage: Hobbies, passions, interests or talents
  • Seeking new coping methods such as new interests or hobbies as one rediscover themselves
  • Denouncing old habits, locations, and trigger

Journal

Writing is a form of inexspensive emotional therapy. Statistics proves that 8/10 survivors of trauma and those who suffer from addiction, have remained sober by journaling.


In between classes or counseling sessions you or your loved one can use this tool and apply it to your active treatment plan.


  • Write down progress, each display of strength, defeation of cravings, yielding to relapse in the intermediate counts 
  • Write down immediate feelings and desire upon triggers
  • Write down "truthful" decision(s) that was made (good or bad)
  • Acknowledge fears, struggles, thoughts of relapse
  • Record each time of relapse, amount, and immediate actions after
  • Read & evaluate accomplishments that has been made since the start of sobriety
